Tasks

• Support in the selection and qualification of electrical components (ground connectors, shielding for electromagnetic interference (EMI), electronic components and printed circuit boards)
  
• Supporting the Qualification Leader in the coordination and monitoring of all ongoing qualification projects for electrical components
• Close cooperation with technical managers of various technologies (inquiry for new components up to validation of procurability)
  
• Participation in the improvement of document quality in the database for qualified standards and components and promotion of extended use of this database
• Supporting the technical managers in updating the information in the database and capitalising information from various sources in Germany and France in the central database
• Support technical managers and strategic purchasing in using the database to identify rationalisation opportunities, including reducing the number of references

Qualification

• Successfully completed studies (Master or Diploma) in the field of electrical engineering, engineering, aerospace or mechanical engineering, ideally with a focus on electrical components
  
• First professional experience in research and development as well as production engineering
• Comprehensive understanding of complex technical processes
  
• Sound knowledge of electrical and electronic components (on-board vehicle systems, preferably in the aerospace, automotive or railroad industry)
  
• Expertise in EMI shielding and electrical ground connections to ensure the safety and performance of electrical systems
• Knowledge of the qualification process for electrical components in aviation is an advantage
• Business fluent in German and English, French is desirable
• Existing work permit for the European Union
