Tasks

• Carry out general and detailed 3D design work
• Creation and regular updating of 3D models and assemblies in Catia V5 / Teamcenter
• Developing and continuously updating 2D documentation suitable for production to ensure smooth production processes
• Creating parts lists and releasing the associated data packages in conjunction with SAP
• Implementation and detailed documentation of changes in accordance with the configuration management process
• Evaluation and processing of non-conformities with design implications to ensure the highest quality standards and process optimisation

Qualification

• Completed studies in aerospace engineering or mechanical engineering, ideally at Bachelor's or Master's level or equivalent qualification
• Several years of professional experience in design with in-depth knowledge of design and development processes
• Initial experience in PLM tools, in particular TeamCenter and SAP
• Good 3D visualisation skills and ideally initial experience with 3D annotations for implementing PMI (product manufacturing information)
• Comprehensive IT skills, especially in MS Office at at least detailed level and specialised knowledge of Catia V5
• Fluency in English or German
• Ability to work partially in remote mode
• Existing work permit for the European Union
