Tasks

• Effectively collaborate and communicate with suppliers, internal stakeholders (quality managers, contract managers, engineers, supply chain managers, production and logistics coordinators) as well as programme representatives and warehouse operators
• Carrying out forecasting activities and inventory management
• Placing and carefully tracking orders to ensure on-time delivery and process efficiency
• Support in the implementation of new parts with the multifunctional teams
  
• Management and monitoring of rework and strategic buffers in collaboration with suppliers
• Identifying and resolving recurring issues
• Participating in performance review meetings and dedicated meetings with suppliers
• Conducting reporting activities and analysing data to support strategic decisions and improve operational performance

Qualification

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or Supply Chain / Logistics
  
• Alternatively, successfully completed commercial training as a wholesale and foreign trade merchant or industrial clerk with many years of professional experience
• Several years of professional experience in purchasing, supplier management and supply chain / logistics
• Advanced user knowledge in MS Office, SAP and familiarity with Google Workspace as well as specific expertise in SAP PGI/PDA are required
• Very good knowledge of German and business fluent English
• Willingness to travel (3-5 times a year)
• Existing work permit for the European Union
