Stress Analysis Engineer (m/f/x)

Tasks

  • Dimensioning and analysing dynamic system components with a focus on weight and performance aspects
  • Carrying out static calculations and service life analyses for metal and fibre composite components using analytical methods and FE analyses
  • Definition, supervision and evaluation of tests for components
  • Monitoring flight test campaigns for optimum performance and safety
  • Evaluation of quality reports and construction deviations for continuous improvement
  • Verification of repairs and changes in the production process for conformity and efficiency
  • Respond to customer enquiries and investigate operational incidents to develop solutions

Qualification

  • Completed studies (Master or Diploma) in the field of aerospace
  • Several years of professional experience in engineering with a focus on strength and stress engineering
  • Profound knowledge of standard stress analysis methods such as HSB, Bruhn, ESDU, Roark & Young
  • Experience in FE modelling techniques with Hypermesh, Optistruct, NASTRAN, ABAQUS
  • Expertise in service life analyses
  • Comprehensive IT user knowledge of Nastran
  • Business fluent in German and English
  • Existing work permit for the European Union
