Design of microelectronic systems (PCBA) for aircraft, including function definition, interfaces, component selection, schematic design and supplier management for layout, prototyping, assembly and testing
Integration of avionic or electrical systems and components in aircraft or helicopters according to STC or minor modifications
Creation of concepts, system architecture, specifications, interfaces and requirements, as well as test plans for laboratory, ground and flight tests
Performing system safety assessments according to ARP4761
Definition, management and tracking of requirements (V&V)
Support in the definition of certification programmes and preparation of documentation to demonstrate compliance
Qualification of equipment by preparing/supporting environmental qualification tests according to DO-160
Preparation of development documentation (ARP4754, DO-178, DO-254) and supplements to aircraft documentation
Support with integration and tests at the customer or MRO (Part 145)
Degree in microelectronics, systems engineering or similar qualification
Several years of professional experience in a similar position, ideally in the aerospace industry
Certification as a Certification Verification Engineer is an advantage
Extensive knowledge of microelectronic and avionic systems and deep understanding of system architecture, interfaces and requirements development
Familiarity with certification regulations, system safety assessments and development standards (ARP4754/4761, DO178, DO254, ...)
Experience in microelectronic development and simulation techniques beneficial
Good knowledge of English required, knowledge of German an advantage
Willingness to travel and work at short notice at the customer's site
Existing work permit for the EU and willingness to undergo security checks
